I was shopping for postcards the other day and know you are probably wondering if I am ever NOT shopping for...
Paul, my dear. Can you change my last name to Vande Bossche??
I enjoyed listening to the interview with Karen. A friendly spirit and well spoken as to her writing.
It isn’t clear to me what spurred a memory in me when listening …
The Post Card Koda memory of my vast collection of postcards of artists and writers from openings and exhibits
started when I finally found artists that appealed to my taste in art, but not my pocket book..
My father would say “Champagne on a beer budget” … I could afford the post cards but not even
a print often. Most of their art / and or writing is off the beaten path such as
Robert Shetterly’s Americans Who Tell the Truth series of paintings… the cards would make wonderful
fodder for PoPo … but am sure I put them “some place safe” which means “the black hole” of my
storage.
That was a good result for me, besides enjoying the interview, remembering Bob, and putting him
next on my … what did someone call it … “stalking” list. Peace and Love, Siggi
